A train wreck

NY Daily NewsJAKE BECKER NEW YORK DAILY NEWS
The Knicks learned a lesson in untimely ad placement while tempering the whirlwind surrounding the whereabouts of Derrick Rose.
Rose, who showed up to Knicks practice in Westchester on Tuesday after going AWOL during Monday night's loss to the Pelicans, was the ironic subject of the team's badly timed Amtrak advertisement posted to the team's Twitter account Tuesday afternoon.
The Knicks' post, which was later deleted, showed the lost-and-found point guard boarding an Amtrak train to market the railroad service (top).
Six minutes after posting the tweet, the Knicks' public relations Twitter account announced that Rose had been fined for his absence.
Rose told reporters on Tuesday that he had traveled to Chicago -- likely by plane, not train -- due to a family-related issue and that he had been with his mother.
